Up in Duluth we are not used to hot weather. Heat advisories were issued today at the temps got up into the high 90’s and the heat index into the triple digits.
Many people were at Park Point, the world’s longest fresh water sandbar– 7 miles long. The water is cold. I took my dog down to the beach and put him in the water, he swam a little bit, but not too much. I wondered if the cold water bothered his arthritis. I’m guessing that the temp of the water is in the 60’s. Now, at 10 p.m. we are having a thunder storm. There is a heat advisory out for tomorrow too.

Here is a Youtube I took of the dog yesterday, when the window was creating whitecaps. There was no wind today.
