Dog in Window

This dog looks out the window on Grand Avenue.

This was taken on Skyline Parkway above Central Hillside, usually you can see the lake. Today you can barely see the outline of a couple of pine trees a few feet away.

Let the school tours begin!

Barn at Chris Jensen

A barn remains on the property of the Chris Jensen Rehabilitation Center, 2501 Rice Lake Road, because at one time the property was the “Poor Farm.”

Seaman's Yesterdays Treasures

Last Friday I had to take my computer into CW Technologies, which is why you haven’t seen a new Duluth Daily Photo every day for the past week.

Seaman’s Yesterday’s Treasures is across the street from them. It’s in West Duluth on Grand Avenue. I like the rocking chair with the sign split into it.

Under the Red Star

Many homes, barns and sheds in this area have a red or a white star on them. I’ve heard it is the Finnish influence.

Unique Building on 100 block of West Third Street

Does anyone know the story on this old building? The green dome on the right is the top of the Old Carnegie Library.
