Well, today I had several photos to choose from. One included blooming trees with the burlap protected hedges from the Rose Garden in the background. I decided to included this one because I don’t know when I will get inside the Matthew S. Burrows 1890 Inn again. The big house is located at 1632 E. First St. Al, who along with his wife owns the bed and breakfast, showed me a photo of the house from the 1980s. It had been divided up into apartments and the outside didn’t look very nice.  All the woodwork had been covered up with paneling. I am glad it was ripped out. It is a beautiful home.

I attended a gospel music sing along as part of Dulcimer Day in Duluth. It was fun to sing the songs and see the old house.

I like this photo because the photographer is standing opposite a mirror in the MATTHEW S. BURROUGHS 1890 INN, and she is part of this photo. Too often we see the photo but seldom do we see the photographer!

    Yes, that is true.
